Valentine's 2008 with Babblin' Babs Bistro

Bisol Jeio Prosecco (Italy) - 100% Prosecco from the hills north of Venice. The perfect start to your evening crisp, clean as the bubbles dance in your mouth.

Asian Shrimp Cocktail- Large succulent shrimp steamed in a sake vegetables and Szechuan peppercorns. Chilled and platted with wasabi cocktail sauce.

Organic Pear & Bleu Cheese Salad- Fresh sweet organic greens lightly glazed in our bleu cheese vignette dressing with Bosc pears and pecans.

Babs Land & Sea Combo- Fresh Painted Hill top sirloin from Dave’s Meat lightly seasoned with our New Orleans Solutions, and oven seared. Then fresh wild caught crab meat studded with bell peppers, celery, green onions and other seasonings creates a savory mixture that crowns the steak, is finished in the oven. Garnished with braised Swiss chard in a sherry garlic vinegar and sweet potato wedges in a chili lime.

The Original Bistro Brownie- Barry Chocolate from Belgium creates this delectable brownie layered with hand spun caramel, pralines and drizzles of dark chocolate ganache with cookie crumbles. Garnished with organic whipped cream, caramel, chocolate and a dusting of cocoa.

WHERE: Babblin' Babs Bistro's new dining room (European style seating).

Starts at 6:15 pm in the Bistro with seasonal beverage and new creation... dinner service at 6:40 p.m.


The Menu


Tarte Au Chèvre- Our buttery pastry shells filled with goat cheese, black Mission figs and pancetta all cooked until golden brown.


Lobster Bisque Soup- A blend of Cognac and Madeira in a reduction with shallots. Then heavy cream with tomato paste, Hungarian paprika and lemon juice added to our glace de Homard (lobster stock).Finish with a heart shaped crostini, parsley and paprika.


Shaved Fennel Slaw with Grilled Shrimp - Fresh fennel bulb hand shaved with red bell peppers, onions, whole grain mustard and extra virgin olive oil. Then succulent shrimps marinated with mint, Key lime zest and cayenne pepper placed gently on top of the slaw.


Raspberry Mint Float- Homemade raspberry sorbet infused with a chiffonade of mint and churned into this frozen delight swimming in a Bisol Jeio Prosecco Brut.

Grand Marnier Crème Brûlée with Chocolate Ginger- The original pan made custard infused with Seville orange zest, vanilla and Grand Marnier. Then lightly caramelized with organic brown sugar and garnished with a crystallized ginger imbedded in bittersweet chocolate strips.
