The Storybook Ballet Theatre was born from the wild popularity of Tacoma City Ballet's Halloween show, The Haunted Theatre. In response to overwhelming demand for more family-friendly, budget-conscious performances, TCB created Storybook Ballet Theatre. The production delights audiences with short ballets based on classic children's fairy tales, nursery rhymes, proverbs, limericks and fables. The show is designed to keep both young and old enthralled throughout each one-hour performance!

Tacoma City Ballet's popular production delights audiences with short ballets based on classic children's fairy tales, nursery rhymes, proverbs, limericks and fables. Storybook Ballet Theatre is designed to keep both young and old enthralled throughout each one-hour performance! 
New this year, TCB is adding a new twist to the popular spring production, a Fairy Tale Tea Party for Mother's Day weekend. Come see the show made complete with a hosted English Tea service!

The Christmas Revels

This year The Christmas Revels features music, dance and folklore from old Bavaria.  Sankt Nikolaus and his sometimes alarming, always unpredictable helper Knecht Rupprecht join the large Revels cast in their jolly annual assignment to drive the dark away.  This high-spirited concoction of folk tradition and high art is a joyous, timeless celebration for all ages.  Bring family and friends to the Rialto.  See you there!
