Eat, Lakewood

Paldo World Food Court, A Whole New World on the Lakewood Border

The sign said "Your appetite will be stimulated by unique flavor of the Chicky Pub." Totally, it was. Unfortunately, everything really good at Chicky Pub appeared to be breaded and fried, so I opted for Nak Won, the little Korean joint next to it.

Pho Than Brothers (Dinner Under $15, no Frying Involved)

Due to the generosity of the fabulous Girlfriend in Tacoma, Tacomadaddy and I found ourselves unexpectedly without children last night. All night. (Sweet!)

Thai Hut 2 (2 Good Days in Tacoma)

I said the last Thai food post was the last food post of the year, but looks like I've got one more in me. We were given an Olive Garden gift certificate for Christmas and headed out tonight with the intention of giving that a try, but with a wait time of 40 minutes, we though we'd see what else that particular shopping center had to offer.

Neo Woodfired Pizza (214 Good Days in Tacoma)

Submitted by reader Janiene Knight. Thank you!

Neo's is just a few doors down from The Great Wall Buffet.

El Toro

Tacoma is home to a number of good Mexican restaurants. Our personal favorite is El Toro, a small local chain with 5 locations around the area. Their food is heads and shoulders above certain national chains that are very popular in these parts, and their relaxed atmosphere, great service, and comfortable booths make it a great family option.
