Foss Waterway Seaport Museum and Winterfest - This Weekend!

Last week, we took advantage of the extra time off from school and checked out the new Foss Waterway Seaport Museum (formerly the Working Waterfront Museum) on Dock Street. We had a great time at the latest addition to Tacoma's museum lineup, making wooden boats and checking out the science-y "Finding Your Way" exhibit on loan from the Exploratorium.

Wright Park (312 Good Days in Tacoma: Central Goodness)

If Tacoma has a green heart, it beats at Wright Park, located in the middle of it all at 6th and I St. We are lucky enough to live on a bus line that will get us to this lovely spot in about five minutes.
