Why did you choose to send your child there?
My grand child had a speech delay. (Get you children tested early - between 1 year and 18 months!)
Is there anything you don't like about this school?
TCC's program was not structured, so my grandson ran amok for hour 1/2, then when it was time for quiet activities he would still be wired. The teachers were so busy talking to each other they ignored his behavior until it was quiet time, then they looked for ME to do something. We pulled him from there and went to A Step Ahead.

I have to agree with how poorly run and operated this center is. When I was a student there, I was on a waiting list for one quarter. I had to keep asking them about my child's place on it, and they had never gotten around to calling parents on the list about availability. Their info sheets have different crucial information then what their policies actually are: cost for example, as well as hours of operation and different costs for different amounts of hours - 4, 5 and 10 hour increments (they charge $10 per 5 minutes over if you sign up for the wrong amount of hours), which is ridiculous, as well as the fact that the center is only open while school is in session, not on breaks, college in-service or planning days, or holidays that other daycares are open (MLK day for example). If you want a steady daycare for your child, this one is NOT it. There's also very little supervision of the children...the only reason that there's a waiting list and people want to get in here is because they heard that there's a sliding scale fee, which they have done away with. The costs are more now than other daycares in the area. Be wary of Tacoma Community College's Children's Center.
