Why did you choose to send your child there?
Being an intermediate school, it does tend to put them into a Jr High like environment a bit to early. In my opinion, kids should be kids for as long as possible. I dont see the benefit in rushing them to grow up.
Is there anything you don't like about this school?
I love Mr. Crawford the Vice Principal. He is reasonable and will listen to your concerns. There is a new principal but I don't know him well enough to comment, other then he seems to be very nice. There does seem to be a problem with bullying, but I know they try to keep on top of it. The security at UP schools is more lax then what i'm used to. I dont have to show ID when picking up my child and that does concern me.
