academics and/or test scores, school has special educational programs my child needs, educational philosophy, teacher quality, safety
Is there anything you don't like about this school?
In most cases, one parent needs to stay home and is unable to further their own career; however, many at-home parents work from home or part time so that they can home school.
Additional comments:
Home schooling is growing rapidly in our community. We are lucky enough to live in an area that has a very strong home schooling community with so many classes, activities, field trips, support groups and co-ops that there's never enough time in our schedule for everything that I'd like to do with the kids. Parents should know that it's a viable alternative to traditional schooling.
