Harvest Festivals

September 3rd, 2007 - Wapato Harvest Festival, Lions Park, Wapato, 509-877-9906, 10 am to 10 pm. Parade, music, carnival, food, and crafts. Free admission.

September 7-9th, 2007 - Farmer-Consumer Awareness Day, Quincy WA, 8 am to evening. Free farm tours, parade, arts and crafts, food booths, childrens activities, cook off, and more. Quincy Valley Chamber of Commerce Site

September 22nd, 2007 - Wenatchee Taste of the Harvest, Downtown Wenatchee, 9 am to 7 pm, contact Annette Pennington at 509-662-0059. The former Apple Festival features local restaurants, wagon rides, face painting, live music, and art. Wendowntown.org

October 5-6th, 12-13th, 19-20th 2007 - Leavenworth Oktoberfest, Front Street, Leavenworth WA, 509-548-7021, 12 noon (parade, keg tapping at 1 pm) to night. Vendors, german food, Kinderplatz with climbing wall, bouncy toys, clowns and musicians, and beer. Leavenworthoktoberfest.com
