"The Wiz" Musical Performance

I read this website often and have discovered new restaurants I would never have eaten at and have done new things that I wouldn't have done because of Tacoma Mama.  This is my first posting and my first day as an actual member.  I actually have something beneficial to post!! 

Tonight I went to a musical play called "The Wiz" at Life Christian Academy at 1717 S Union, in Tacoma.  I was expecting the typical HS play I remember watching in my HS years (OK, so I graduated in the 80's).  Technology has come a long long way!!  This performance was absolutely AMAZING!!!  The costumes, the acting, the real live orchestra, the theatrics, the singing, ect. etc. ect was better than a couple of the many Broadway plays I have attended! (flight attendant of 25 years).  All I can say is that I really enjoyed this show and it only set me back $6!  $6.00!!!  It was a total bargain!!!   The humor and funny lines were hilarious!

There are 3 remaining shows, April 23, 29 and 30th.  Show starts at 7pm. cost is $6 for adults, $3 for 18 and under. You just show up, pay and take a seat in the huge autorium. 

I enjoyed it so much, that I plan to go to one of the show next week too!  I mean it can only get better and tonight was GREAT! I just wanted to share this with everyone, because I enjoyed something I was actually dreading going too :)  So happy I went!!!!
