A Weekday Morning at Odyssey 1
After we paid our admission, my daughter ran into the play area and happily proclaimed "Ah, Peace and Quiet." That's a really funny thing to say at Odyssey, but on a weekday morning you can pretty much have it all to yourself.

She even had time for an America's Next Top Model moment.

And our 18 month old friend didn't get trampled in the ballpit.
The coolest thing about being there on a weekday, is the "preschool special"- for $1.50 (with a playpark admission) you get a personal sized pizza and a drink. The little ones tend to burn themselves out after an hour of play and want to eat NOW, so it's a good deal. Odyssey's pizza is Round Table's recipe and usually pretty decent. We shared two of these between three kids and one adult and it was enough for lunch.
After lunch, the Elmo crowd headed out to the coin-op area to happily "play" all the games without any actual money.
The fine print: The Preschool Special is only available before 3 pm and while school is in session. (no summer or break times) Play park admission is 4.95 per child 2 and over, $1.95 for kids under 2, free for kids under 2 with a $4.95 admission. Adults don't have to pay if they are bringing a paying child.
