Urinal Explosion at Foss High School

In light of recent events, this kind of thing seems kind of quaint.  Or something.

According to the district's Facebook page, a couple of students took it upon themselves to stuff a few firecrackers in a urinal this morning, resulting in an explosion.  (Pictured)  I guess that's what the kids are into these days.  In my day (back before the down of the auto-mo-bile) they'd just call in bomb threats from the pay phone outside the office whenever there was a math test.

Although the building was briefly evacuated, no one was harmed in the incident.

In other school news, Superintendent Art Jarvis is not crazy about the governor's plan to abolish the OSPI and create a Department of Education.
