Steamboats Return to Foss Waterway Seaport!

The sights and sounds of steam whistles fill the air as the Northwest Steam Society holds its annual meet, August 6-8 at Foss Waterway Seaport. For the first time ever over 30 steamboats from Oregon and Washington will be featured at the Seaport docks. You’ll have a chance to meet and chat with these boat builder/engineers throughout the weekend. Festive activities include boat parades and races of these world class and classic reproductions of launches. The LeMay family joins the excitement by providing an 1890’s-era steam powered car for all to enjoy. See the Seaport's website for a complete schedule of events.
