Does your child learn something new at school everyday?

The faculty and staff at Seabury School believe that is the right of every child, even those who are intellectually advanced, says head of school Sandi Wollum.

The independent school in Tacoma, which serves gifted children from prekindergarten through eighth grade, is holding an open house for prospective families on Sunday, Nov. 24, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Tour classrooms, meet teachers and learn more about the program at the lower school campus, 1801 53rd St. NE, 98422.

Wollum says there are openings in several classes for this school year.  Seabury is also accepting applications for the 2014-15 school year.
