Peanut Sauce Thai (146 Good Days in Tacoma)

We moved up here a couple of years ago from Olympia, reluctantly leaving the heaven that is Thai Garden (but they have since closed due to the mall renovation *sniff*) and their chicken satay. Now we are on a constant quest for the best Thai Tacoma has to offer and we keep heading back to Peanut Sauce Thai on Tacoma Mall Blvd.

We go there so often that the staff all knows us...and what we usually order. Panang/Mussamun/yellow curry for me (see, I try to change it up!) and swimming rama for my husband. The portions are very good sized and the food is, in my case, "leftovers I actually remember to eat"- worthy. But honestly, everything we've ever ordered there has been wonderful. I always have a thai iced tea, that is just a tad too sweet for my taste but I can't resist, and they have Thomas Kemper soda in bottles in addition to Pepsi products.

At Peanut Sauce the "spicy" is "SPICY" so be prepared, and depending on who is doing the cooking even the "0 stars" can have a kick. Our cost usually ranges between $30-35 for a satay appetizer, two entrees, thai iced tea and a soda.
