Paldo World Food Court, A Whole New World on the Lakewood Border
The sign said "Your appetite will be stimulated by unique flavor of the Chicky Pub." Totally, it was. Unfortunately, everything really good at Chicky Pub appeared to be breaded and fried, so I opted for Nak Won, the little Korean joint next to it.

For 7.99 I got a huge bowl of Bibimbap and 7 plates of banchan, perfect for a pre-shopping meal.

Vegetarians might enjoy the tofu stand next to Chicky Pub, where you can watch through a window while fresh tofu is made on a small conveyor belt.

There's also a pretty accessible looking Chinese place, for the less adventurous. The food court is informal and definitely kid friendly, with built in entertainment at the tofu stand.
If you try the Chicky Pub fried chicken, let us know what you think. It wasn't cheap but it looked good.
Paldo World just opened "Paldo Plaza" - a huge complex of unfortunate architecture with blank walls facing the street. Although there are big signs celebrating a grand opening, there do not appear to be any tenants. I hope lack of interest in the plaza doesn't hurt Paldo World the store/food court, because it's one of my favorite places.

Actually the place next door with the conveyor belt isn't showing everyone how tofu is made, rather you can watch as your order of what my friends and I have lovingly begun referring to as "fish waffles" (fish-shaped waffles filled with a red bean paste mixture) are made.

Oh, that's funny. I think I just saw the tofu sign and assumed it was tofu.
