I've been spending a fair amount of time in various Tacoma-related forums lately, and one topic seems to come up everywhere: where to go for the best breakfasts in Tacoma? We decided to try it out this week, and I'm glad we did.
It's a tiny little hole in the wall place, in the midst of an industrial district. Blink when you're driving by and you'll miss it. Despite it's tiny size, there was plenty of seating on a Saturday morning at 8 am. We got a nice large corner booth, and the sound level was just enough to block out the noise of the kids' rambunctiousness.
At first I thought the prices were a little high for basic breakfast combinations, (high being relative, it's very inexpensive) but when the food came the reason was clear. I've never been served such large breakfast portions in my life. My littlest was completely overwhelmed by the size of her pancakes and opted to eat very little. She returned home hungry, but that should be an impossibility for most mere mortals after a visit to Marcia's Silver Spoon.
