KOMO television may be unavailable on Click! Cable TV at year’s end
Submitted by Lucas Byram on
Click! Cable TV is in negotiations to continue offering KOMO and KUNS to its customers.
Click! has not reached an agreement with Fisher Communications, the owner and operator of KOMO and KUNS, so it has an obligation to notify its customers of the potential of not carrying KOMO and KUNS starting Jan. 1.
“We will continue to work with Fisher Communications to reach an agreement,” said Click! Network Manager Tenzin Gyaltsen. “We have a responsibility to our customers to pay fair pricing for these stations, and right now, we’re not there.”
Fisher communications is asking for a more than 200 percent increase in rates, with no improvements to services or offerings.

KOMO is greedy

They transmit their signal for all to see. They want their channel in any living room that will take them. then a cable company picks them up off air and puts it on the cable for customer conveinance. KOMO thinks they need to charge the cable company which has to pass the cost on to the customer no choice. The way I see it the cable company is doing KOMO a huge favor.
