Klassic Kids Koncert

Tacoma Philharmonic is presenting a brand-new series designed to inspire the unlimited potential of every child through music. The 2009–2010 Kids Koncerts series features Let Your Music Shine with Lisa and Linda. The Kids Koncerts subscription series offers programs starting with Mother Goose Goes to the Symphony on October 31, with tickets only $5.00 per person. Kids Koncerts occur on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at Theatre on the Square in downtown Tacoma.

All Kids Koncerts performances, designed to engage children from birth to eight years, are approximately 45 minutes and serve to engage our youngest music lovers—infants, toddlers, preschoolers and elementary-aged children—in musical games, stories and songs and help them build a strong relationship with symphonic music.

Mother Goose Goes to the Symphony – October 31, 2009
Let’s hear some symphonies and favorite rhymes, it’s Mother Goose goes to the Symphony time! Clap and sing while combining classic literature with symphony classics by Beethoven, Haydn, Schubert and Dvorak. Children (and parents) are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes to the concert. Featuring Trumpet, Trombone, and Tuba
