Puget Sound Revels, in partnership with the Seabury School, is offering a drama workshop for children and free public performance of the traditional Mummers Play Harvest Time and the Wild Worm. Children (ages 7 to 14) will have the opportunity to act, sing, dance, create simple scenery and costumes and present the play before a public audience. No previous acting or musical experience is required (limit of 25 participants). Participation requires three after-school rehearsals and one Saturday rehearsal (dates and times below). Children must be available to attend all of the scheduled rehearsals.
Parents with questions or wishing to register a child for participation should call Puget Sound Revels at 253-756-1804 by October 8th.
Rehearsals are October 18, 20 & 22 (4:00pm to 6:00pm), and Saturday Oct 23rd (10am to 4pm); performance is October 24.
The public is invited to attend a free performance on October 24 (4pm) in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church, located at 621 Tacoma Ave South, Tacoma WA. Families and all ages welcome.
