Joan will discuss the goals and challenges of hiking with kids, share tips and tricks as well as her favorite day hikes with little ones. WTA will discuss safety tips, tricks to keep kids moving down the trail, and review some great books to inspire both parents and kids to get outdoors. This workshop will have something for families new to hiking as well those experienced hikers. You will leave the workshop with resources in hand, eager to hit the trail and explore all of the amazing beauty Washington has to offer. Cosponsored by the Washington Trails Association.
