Flipping Out

Flipping Out provides a great alternative to corporate fast food joints: great burgers, friendly service and free ice cream for the kids. Other bonuses include fresh ground beef and natural cut French fries.

The retro style burger joint occupies the old 12th Street Diner location, a spot that has had some difficulty maintaining a steady business in year's past. I think Flipping Out has hit on the right formula for this location though, putting the focus on good burgers and fries and fast service.

The free ice cream dessert is often enough to entice my kids away from dreams of corporate fast food chains.
