Final Call for Parents' participation in University of Pennsylvania study

The Families in the New Millennium research project is wrapping up its study of daily life and parenting in Tacoma but is looking for parents to participate one last time!

As the interviewer for the project, it has been an amazing experience listening to parents around the Tacoma area about the challenges you face and joys you experience raising a child in 2009. Many of the parents I have interviewed report having enjoyed sharing their stories and having the chance to think about aspects of family life they sometimes overlook.

If you are interested, please visit the following website to complete a short, 15-minute survey: www.surveymonkey.com/tacomafamilies
You can also contact Molly at maj23@u.washington.edu

For every family that completes the online survey, the research team will donate $5 to that family’s individual middle school. You may also choose to further participate by completing an in-depth interview and questionnaire. Those participants eligible for the interview will receive $60.00 cash for a two-hour interview.

If you know other parents who may be interested, please pass on this information to them. Thank you!
