Might want to start a new thread
...about crafting. The forums maybe?
No biggee, I'm not a very aggressive moderator but it might be good to use a more specific topic.

Sherman Craft Bazaar
A great way and free to advertise is on Craigslist. Also there is a group called www.EventLister.com or www.CraftLister.com. You have to register to post events but you can list all the details and should get lots of contacts. Finally, you may be able to advertise at www.newstribune.com under schools for free, it may cost if you advertise under the regular classified section. May I suggest a few things? As a crafter I often need to know the following before I sign up for the event.
1. How long has the event been happening?
2. How many shoppers are expexted to attend your event?
3. How much is the booth and how large is it?
4. Are the chairs and tables supplied for the vendors?
5. Is food available for the vendors?
6. How early can we set up?
6. Is electricity available? If so, is there an additional cost?
7. And finally, if I sell beaded items for example and so does another vendor, will you place our boothes apart from each other and how many of the same type of vendor will you allow to participate?
I hope this is helpful. Please send me info about your event. Happy Holidays.
Sherman Elementary Craft Bazaar
The Sherman Elementary PTA is holding its first craft bazaar. We are trying to find different ways to advertise for vendors and for attendees. Please let me know if there are some great ways to advertise for craft fairs. Thanks, from a mom who is trying to make help make her kids school great!
Creative Suggestion
By the way, this one snuck by me but I've set the site to no more anonymous comments (not anything you said, lots of spammers around) so from now on, you have to register and log in.
Old accounts work but you have to request a new password.
Want to save money....
...don't buy a ticket, just rush up to the gate and scream something like this "oh my god the sheep judging starts in just 2 minutes and I have to be there." One of my friends does this every year and it alway works.
