Don't know about good news...

I like your optimism, but since the owner says he really doesn't have a long term plan and the council still seems to be stuck in "can't do anything, private matter" mode, I'm afraid I don't see much happening beyond removal of the wet materials.  After demolition there would need to be a budget to rebuild the interior before new tenants moved in. I'm glad Webb sees it as an opportunity to repurpose the space, (notably, after kicking out many tenants and then losing the few he had left to the leak) but I doubt we're looking at a real timetable on that.

Ironic they mentioned potholes

I just got an unrepairable flat tire from a nasty pothole on N. M St. that was hidden under a puddle. $240 later and not happy about it. But hey, at least what was said about OCH was good news! (Whether or not it's actually true always is a different matter.)

Manthou would also like to

Manthou would also like to thank BP and apologize for the tiny humans and animals who were killed after getting in the way of all that oil.
