Bertolino's (73 Good Days in Tacoma: 24 Hour Coffee)

Truth is, there's not much in Tacoma that's open 24 hours. We seem to have a plethora of 24-hour grocery stores, but even their coffee shops close up around 7:00 every night.

Bertolino's is one of the few exceptions, an independent coffee shop open 24-7. There always seems to be a familiar crowd there, when I stopped in yesterday it seemed like everyone but me knew at least one other person there. Because it's a small space, you're likely to hear all of these familiar people talking to each other while you sip your latte.

But hey, it's open, the coffee's not terrible, and the people seem really nice. If it's after 9 pm and you're looking for coffee in Tacoma, it's the (only) place to be.
