ABC Cafe (210 Good Days in Tacoma)
I wouldn't recommend everything at the ABC Cafe. Service can be slow, and some of the Chinese dishes are definitely a bit dumbed down to the point of being somewhat unrecognizable. However, yesterday I just needed a great big bowl of hot kimchi soup, and theirs was a very nice surprise.
The "Hot spicy Korean Seafood Soup" consisted of about a gallon of soup, and at least $15 worth of seafood, including shrimp, muscles, squid, octopus, and scallops, for about 9 dollars. Kimchi is my standard cure for jetlag and exposure to many many nasty airplane germs. The stuff is so powerful, it may be effective in warding off bird flu, or maybe not, but you definitely don't want to spill any of it in your car when you bring your leftovers home. If you find yourself in need of a big bowl of restorative kimchi noodle, ABC is a great place to get one.

Good to know! That soup sounds great! I stopped going there shortly after they opened because the food was too hit-an-miss. More often a miss. I was sad to see Happy Dragon leave that corner, but their new place is working out much better - I love their orange beef!
