4 Officers Ambushed and Killed at Lakewood Coffee Shop

Terrible news this morning. 4 police officers have been shot and killed at a Lakewood Forza just outside the gates to McChord AFB, near 116th and S Steele Street. According to news reports, they were just drinking coffee and working on their laptops when the shooting took place.

Update: According to @KIRO7Seattle the officers were three men and one woman, all from the Lakewood Police Department.

The area has been sealed off and police are very actively looking for the suspects, which so far are described only as a white man and an African American man. An African American male of about 5' 9" 5'7"-5'10" with a medium build, "scruffy" facial hair, wearing a black sweatshirt grey hooded sweatshirt, black coat and jeans. A $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to their capture and that number is expected to increase.

3:45pm update: Police now say one of the officers managed to fire a few rounds, and the suspect may be injured. They are asking anyone with information about an injured person meeting the suspect's description to please call the tipline: 866-977-2362
