We love Thai Garden. It's like eating at grandma's house, if grandma is a fantastic Thai cook. We ate there twice this week and I picked up a menu which I thought I would share with you all.
I said the last Thai food post was the last food post of the year, but looks like I've got one more in me. We were given an Olive Garden gift certificate for Christmas and headed out tonight with the intention of giving that a try, but with a wait time of 40 minutes, we though we'd see what else that particular shopping center had to offer.
After our farm tour was canceled due to bad weather, Courtney and her brood met up with us at Odyssey 1 for a little much-needed play time. Afterward I took her out to lunch at Arayah Thai, as a belated Christmas present.
Silk Thai has been our favorite neighborhood Thai restaurant since we moved to Tacoma. They serve consistently great food out of a surprisingly nice spot in a strip mall on 6th Avenue.
We moved up here a couple of years ago from Olympia, reluctantly leaving the heaven that is Thai Garden (but they have since closed due to the mall renovation *sniff*) and their chicken satay. Now we are on a constant quest for the best Thai Tacoma has to offer and we keep heading back to Peanut Sauce Thai on Tacoma Mall Blvd.
We've been trying to cut down on our restaurant dining, but after partying with numerous monkeys last night at the Varsity Grill, we wanted to escape the snacky zone and get ourselves some real food.
