Join with fellow bicycles and City staff members to talk about hopes, visions and plans for a more bike-able Tacoma. Meet members of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Action Committee and get updates on implentation of the Mobility Master Plan. If you bike to the Hub, grab a free slice of pizza, and be entered into a drawing for gift certificates to the Hub and REI prizes. Plus, witness Tacoma's only valet bike parking!

Puget Sound Pizza (49 Good Days in Tacoma: More Breakfast, and New Deals)

A little while ago, Puget Sound Pizza extended their breakfast hours to 7 days a week, setting the stage for the first ever "FeedTacoma BreakfastFeed," soon to be a regular event every 3rd Wednesday of the month. The owner created special $5.00 breakfast deals for the occasion, including any omelette on the menu, like my favorite, the "Mother and Child Reunion"

Well, I've talked about this place before but not in the "official" good days blog. We were home all day hosting a house full of young ones for a crazed sugar-filled, Easter/birthday party. I'm a little under-prepared to write today, and enjoying a little of this, courtesy of my husband:

Sometimes, our attempts to have a "good day" can be a little hard on everybody. Today, for example, was looking a little rocky at first. After a morning spent jostling through crowds at the UPS Flea Market, we headed downtown to try out a "kids eat free" Saturday special, only to find out that the restaurant in question was mobbed with St. Patty's Day crowds.

Lately, Saturday is our day for breakfast out as a family. I've had Puget Sound Pizza on our list for weeks, but we usually get out hours before their opening time of 9 am.
