Doors open at 5:45 p.m. When Jack, the King of Halloween, decides he wants to spread Christmas joy throughout the world, he is thwarted by an evil boogey man, but this doesn’t stop Jack from saving Christmas. Rated PG.

Parent's Night Out

Parent's Night Out

Every third Friday of the month at the Children's Museum of Tacoma.

Cost: $25 per child / $10 for siblings

Children play games, eat dinner, explore the Museum, and create works of art while parents take the night off! Ages 3-10.

All parents who drop off kids will receive a coupon for a free appetizer of their choice at Doyle’s Public House, located at 208 St. Helens Ave - less than one mile away from the Museum. Doyle’s is open to individuals 21 years and older.

Reader's Theater at Moore Library

Always wanted to be an actor, but don’t have time to memorize lines? With Reader’s Theatre you don’t have to! We provide the script, props, and direction - you provide the talent. Rehearse for an hour and a half then bring your family back to watch the show at 7 p,m. For grades 3-5. Participation limited. Registration required.

Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along

Watch the movie on our big screen and sing along with Belle to all your favorite songs including “Be Our Guest” and “Beauty and the Beast.”

Costumes are welcome!!!! and there will be goodie bags for the first 50 kids.

Summer at Seabury 2011 is off to a running start in its second week of camps.

This week we have students entering kindergarten through second grade studying lions, tigers and bears (oh my!), doing art projects, baking blueberry muffins, making puppet shows and more.
