This KID Ride is the Ride for Penquins and brings attention to the need to reduce global warming.  It starts in the upper parking lot at the Tacoma Zoo in Point Defiance.  The ride has some big hills going thru 5 mile drive in the park.  Most of the road is closed to cars until 1pm.  There will be some cars at the start and towards the end of the ride.  Parents and KIDs should be comfortable with car traffic and hills.

This Ride is for bigger kids and adults.  It is the second annual Ride for Polar Bears and brings attention to the need to reduce global warming.  It starts @ Metro Parks Headquarters @ 4702 South 19th Street near Fred Meyers and SR16.  It follows the Scott Pierson Trail to downtown and follows quiet roads to Point Defiance and the Zoo.  You have the option of lingering at the Zoo.  The route back also follows quiet roads and the Trail.
