Famed wildlife photographer Art Wolfe has chosen one hundred of his favorite photographs of dogs- including shots from every continent of the world-and teamed up with bestselling animal writer Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson to create a remarkable book that will be treasured by dog lovers far and wide.

From Tibet to New York City, from Mongolia to Paris, Peru, and Ghana-in fact everywhere on earth, we see dogs living with humans in a kind of intimacy not found with any other animal. It is impossible to view these astonishing photographs without agreeing with Masson and Wolfe that there is no other relationship in nature quite like that between dogs and humans.

Register now for this 6-week pottery class specially designed for youth ages 11 to 16. Students will learn basic wheel throwing skills like centering, coning, pulling, shaping and trimming. They will learn how to glaze the pieces they've made, which will then be fired in our electric kiln.

The $150 fee includes 6 weekly classes, clay, glazes and firing

Throwing Mud Gallery is now offering pottery classes for youth ages 11 to 15 years old.

Class Schedule:

  • Pottery on the Wheel - $150
    Tuesdays, July 19 to August 23, 2011 - 3 to 5 p.m.

Students will learn basic wheel throwing skills like centering, coning, pulling, shaping and trimming. They will learn how to glaze their pieces which will then be fired in our electric kiln.
