Battle against sex trafficking takes center stage at Wilson High School

Teenage girls in the Greater Tacoma area experience a higher risk of being manipulated into prostitution by savvy sex traffickers than girls in other parts of the state, according to a Tacoma police officer who served on a federal task force.

Now, Shared Hope, an international organization that battles sex trafficking, will present a free short documentary film screening and follow-up discussion March 5 at Wilson High School.

Let us entertain your kids while you enjoy some quality time!  A Bricks 4 Kidz® Night Out is a high-energy, creative, fun evening full of LEGO® building projects, games and more! Children (ages 5-13) spend up to three and a half hours in the Frog n Kiwi Cafe’s separate indoor play center, supervised by our trained, screened staff. They work with exciting themes such as machines, outer space and famous buildings. Kids are encouraged to invent stories, design and build models while constantly expanding on their ideas and finding new ways to express them.
