Old Town Tree Lighting & Santa Visit

Photos with Santa, cookies and hot chocolate are free while supplies last. In the spirit of the holidays, we will be accepting donations of non-perishable foods for Food Connection.

Paint Your Own Pottery Date Night

Join us for an evening of creative fun as you paint pottery with your date! We'll supply everything you need to have a great evening, including drinks and appetizers.

Here's how it works:

  • Select a piece of unfinished pottery
  • Choose your colors and paint your design
  • We'll glaze and fire your masterpiece
  • You pick up in 7 days

Cost: $30/couple plus the price of the pottery item(s) you paint

Featuring 60 artists and collaborative studios, the Tacoma Studio Tour allows the general public the opportunity to see the spaces in and tools with which local artists create their work, ask questions, and purchase one-of-a-kind creations. All studios will feature demonstrations of the artistic process or will have hands-on activities for visitors. Fall Storytime at the Cabin

Join us at the Job Carr Cabin Museum for our Fall Storytime Series.

On Saturday, Nov. 9 Debbie Birkey will read stories and lead an art project about Northwest critters getting ready for winter.

Storytime is designed for children ages 3 to 8 and their families. All ages are welcome. Admission is always free, but donations are gratefully accepted.
